 WA DAY DOOR

Our WA Day Door was inspired by Ningaloo Reef from the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. The children had a lot of fun researching facts about Ningaloo reef, and creating the door displays. One door depicts the natural beauty of Ningaloo, whilst the other door represents the impact that pollution could have on our environments. Well done to Room 18 who won the competition.

 EXCURSION

On Friday, 11th June, Room 18 ventured down to Canning River Eco Education Centre to have a day full of environmental science. The children had a ball learning about salinity, temperature of river water, plant and animal adaptations, macroinvertebrates, classifying animals, tidal influences, pollution an so much more. Room 18 and Room 8 were very well behaved and the staff commented on what a beautiful school that the children come from. It was a wonderful day. Check out some of the pictures below.
