ROOM 18

We have had a fantastic start to 2021 and I am pleased with the progress made by all students. Primarily, the first couple of weeks are about setting standards, establishing routines and revising previous concepts and skills. It is very pleasing to see so many students accessing and completing the 'Motivational Work.' Additionally, a large number of students have gone about completing their nightly reading which is beneficial for Literacy Pro. Talking about Literacy Pro, it is now up and running. Therefore, all children should be able to access the site and log in using their username and password. When accessing Literacy Pro, you will need to select Australia from the drop down menu followed by entering the Org ID which is 2w3k. Happy reading, Room 18 and remember to 'Never stop reading!'

SPEAKING TASK

All students will need to present a 2-5 minute presentation on the topic: What makes me special?

Presentations will be held in Week 5, from Tuesday, 2nd March. Presentations may be in the form of a power point or poster, and palm cards are essential. We look forward to hearing more about what makes each of you special.
